Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StudentHelpTools.online (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
StudentHelpTools.online provides free, browser-based tools for converting and processing image and PDF files, including format conversion, compression, passport photo creation, and related utilities. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. When using StudentHelpTools.online, you agree that you will not:
- Upload any file that you do not have the legal right to use, copy, or process.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or that depicts the exploitation or abuse of any individual, including minors.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or related infrastructure.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to submit an excessive volume of requests in a manner that degrades the Service for other users.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code of the Service beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service to process files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
We reserve the right to block, rate-limit, or refuse service to any user or IP address we reasonably believe is violating these Terms or abusing the Service.
3. Your Files and Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of any files you upload to the Service and of the converted or processed files you download. We claim no ownership rights over your content. As described in our Privacy Policy, uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing and are not retained, reviewed, or reused by us.
The StudentHelpTools.online name, logo, website design, and underlying source code are the property of their respective owners and may not be copied, reproduced, or used to create a derivative or competing service without permission.
4. No Warranty
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that:
- Conversion, compression, or other processing results will be error-free, or perfectly match your expectations in every case.
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or available at all times.
- Output files, such as passport photos, will meet the specific acceptance criteria of any government agency, embassy, or third-party institution — always verify official requirements independently. See our Disclaimer for more detail.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StudentHelpTools.online and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to discontinue using it.
6. Third-Party Advertising
The Service may display advertisements served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of advertisers, and your interactions with any advertisement are solely between you and the relevant advertiser.
7. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — including individual tools, features, or upload limits — at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
8. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that harms the Service or other users.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in a manner consistent with applicable jurisdictional requirements.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
